Sep 22, 2023 · The second round was an automatic 10-8 due to Superlek getting a knockdown. That makes the score 28-28. ONE MT uses the knockdown as a tie breaker. So within the rules Rodtang needed a knockdown or knockout in round 3 to win. Or have either round 1 or round 2 scored as 10-8. I can give both those rounds to Rodtang but not as 10-8.

Rodtang 10-9 Superlek, Rodtang 8-10 Superlek, Rodtang 10-9 Superlek, No draws, so Superlek gets the victory due to the knockdown (ONE judging critieria). However, I personally feel Rodtang was the better fighter in there.

Think of a big stone tower, completely empty inside except for a big chandelier hanging from the middle of the ceiling. The chandelier is so large that it ALMOST touches the walls surrounding it.

Feb 6, 2023 · Excited to finally see Rodtang V Superlek. I've always thought Rodtang will win this without much difficulty. Many people seem to think Superlek (and Panpayak) is superior than Rodtang. That might be true under traditional Muay Thai. But in ONE MT with small gloves, I think Rodtang will beat those two. Edit: so they'll be fighting under Kickboxing.

Rodtang is such a tank that every exchange had me nervous lol. Johnson would get a couple good shots in but Rodtang ate them like nothing and throws back with double the ferocity. The shots he does see coming, he braces properly and rolls with shots to minimize the force. the long short is, yes he's just taking brain damage but it gives the illusion he's invincible. it's the reason he's so popular.
