Apr 3, 2012 · Naturally as a lake you can drive to, it's pretty popular. Not quite as popular as Trial or Mirror. You can catch rainbows, brookies, cutts, and grayling in Washington Lake. In the area the Crystal Lake TH is immensely popular, with hikes up toward the Notch and Wall Lake, or west to Long, Weir, and Island Lakes.

Jun 10, 2010 · Ive caught a bunch on caddis, renegades,adams and stuff like that, fishing deeper close to logs and lilly pads with prince and pheasant tails worked good in the middle of the day.

Oct 8, 2010 · That was an amazing experience! Then the next Sunday, (October 3rd) we went up to the highest lake called Big East Lake. We caught 1 Brook trout about 10 inches, and a 14 inch rainbow in an hour, using green power bait. Then of course we headed back down to box lake to expect better fishing. And sure enough, we caught 10 Rainbows in an hour!

Jan 8, 2025 · The issue is where they are located in the lake. Perch live in the weeds. Lake trout live in the open water. When a lake trout is hungry, it just floats up the water column until it finds a kokanee or rainbow, and eats it. Certainly, some lake trout will go hunting and go cruising around the weed beds, and eat anything they want including perch.

Nov 8, 2024 · Recent warm weather appears to have blown most of the ice off. Open water for everything except the eastern portion of the lake, roughly boat ramp to boat ramp. That ice looked questionable with water along the shore and slush ice from previous days melt

May 1, 2013 · I just moved to southern utah from salt lake. I was excited to hear how great the turkey hunting was here. I went out three days now and haven't seen one turkey! I haven't even heard any. I have hunted near enterprise. Anyone care to help a clueless turkey hunter out? So far I have bought 4 tags and seen one turkey( a hen) out of all the hunts!
