In Norse mythology, Ullr (Old Norse: [ˈulːz̠]) [1] is a god associated with skiing. Although literary attestations of Ullr are sparse, evidence including relatively ancient place-name evidence from Scandinavia suggests that he was a major god in earlier Germanic paganism.
