An XV88 Broadside Battlesuit is one of the most heavily armoured T'au Battlesuit units that can be fielded by the T'au Fire Caste, and as such are only worn by the most experienced of T'au veterans.

On average your T'au Battlesuit beats a Space Marine. They are at worst, just as hard but with camo abilities and 4 shot bolters. This is the lightest, scout version of Battlesuits. At best they're 40ft tall Titan blasting walking armories.
