Oct 26, 2022 · I’d say that’s tank. Pic & lighting may be deceiving tho. Mostly I say tank as i don’t remember sarge green being available during the JK model line, other than on the 75th anniversary edition. I really like the sarge green color. Reminds me of the natural/Jeep green available at the end of the TJ model years & beginning of the JK model line.

But your question made me think why would Jeep have dropped a popular color like Tank ... and maybe the answer is Jeep wanted a unique color for the 75th, deciding to kill Tank and use Sarge Green, (that seems to be a very close, if not identical color) was the answer to a help begin a successful marketing plan for the Anniversary model.

I got my sarge green JLR in mid-January 2023, with plans to remove all the red trim in favor of tans and browns (red trim belongs on sports cars; keep it away from my jeep). For me, the best-ever color combination for a jeep is a moss green TJ with a spice top.
