X-49[1][2][3][4] was a skilled and intelligent android assassin built by scientists under the employ of Aku. He was forced out of retirement by Aku to destroy Samurai Jack. He only appeared in Episode L: Tale of X-49. Due to the experimental personality chip placed in him by his creator, he was able to develop a personality and emotions.

He resembles 1940s film noir characters and the T-800. Daran Norris did a great job voicing him. He took good care of his dog Lulu until she was taken by Aku.
