Jan 29, 2025 · Now we’re kicking off the 2025 run of Blast Rites with another Archagathus split. Like the last one, this one’s been in the works for a bit and only now finding its way into the world, pairing our favorite Canadian mince-geeks with the Brazilian grind legends in Rot.

Rot is a grindcore band from São Paulo, Brazil, started in 1990 by Mendigo and Marcelo. The band split in 2008, but reformed in 2012. Bass player Alexandre "Bucho" Strambio died of COVID-19 in April 2021.
