Any regrets buying an ND RF vs ND soft top? : r/Miata - Reddit
Jan 2, 2021 · RF has less wind noise compared to soft top. Targa is still fun because the top and back are exposed and its automatic. If your obsessed with having a complete top less experience get the soft top. If you want people to constantly complement you on how good your car look while you pump gas get the RF.
ND Roadster vs. RF cabin noise? : r/Miata - Reddit
I drive a 2017 RF. With top up, noise does seem mostly to come from the road but even on highway at 60-70, its easy to have a conversation as long as your passenger isn't a mumbler (my SO). With the roof open, even on the highway, the wind noise seems to be mitigated by the aerodynamics so the wind moves around the cabin.
First time Miata owner. 2024 rf gt. Sooo soo happy. Zero regrets.
Fontana, had only auto rf gt. So they located a rf gt in a manual trans in Riverside. Fontana traded a 24 cx5 for Riverside's mx5. The porter and I took the cx5 to the riverside dealership, and I drove the mx5 back to Fontana.
RF Owners: What are the pros/cons? : r/Miata - Reddit
Sep 30, 2021 · I meant it from the perspective that the RF has tangible benefits over the ST with the top in place (rigidity, noise, temperature) and also has some disadvantages compared to the ST with the top down (visibility, wind noise) so considering all those factors combined I would say that the average ST is going to see more time with the …
Miata RF - safe to take through an automatic car wash? : r/Miata
Hi, I recently bought a 2017 Miata RF, and I was wondering if they're okay to take through an automatic car wash with the top up. Google didn't have much info as most people were asking about the softtop. Thanks and have a great weekend.
ND RF question : r/Miata - Reddit
But just think about the benefits of the soft top. Lighter weight, you can easily put the roof up way faster and up to 35 mph, both of which are false of the RF. And more of an open feeling. I've owned both a soft top and now own a RF, and I prefer the RF, but mostly because I'm short, and I don't put the roof down as much as many other people.
How's the MX-5 RF as a daily driver? : r/mazda - Reddit
Aug 5, 2021 · I'm looking into getting a new car. MX-5 RF looks stunning and I was wondering how does it do as a daily driver. I don't have kids or pets, it will be mostly used as a grocery getter with a longer (360km one way) trip once or twice a month to the office. Is it a good all-rounder to drive around town and take longer trips in, comfortably and fun?
What are some mods I can implement into a Miata RF? : r/Miata
Jul 23, 2017 · What are some mods I can implement into a Miata RF? I want to get my hands on a Mazda Mx5 RF soon and wanna know what upgrades I can do to the car (and how). I would want a louder exhaust that contributes more house power or anything else that can make the car faster and some physical changes that make the car look more aggressive.
GR86 or Miata RF? : r/ft86 - Reddit
Test drove a 2019 86 and a 2020 Miata RF, bought a 2020 86. To me, the 86 feels more balanced on curves than the Miata. Going up a hill on a curvy road, the Miata felt very sluggish. Granted, this was with the A/T (on both cars). But the Toyota responded better. The Miata also felt very tiny on the road and has a very compact interior.
Does the Rf need a roll bar? : r/Miata - Reddit
Jul 30, 2023 · There is no option to install a rollbar in the RF if you want a functional roof. The only rollbar I am aware of is the one made by HardDog sold by Flyin Miata, and if you install it, it will make your RF a permanent hardtop because the motor mechanism I think needs to come out from the trunk area.
