Maiev is the leader of the Watchers. She began a hunt for Illidan Stormrage after his release from the barrow prisons.

If the Watchers are infamous among the night elves, Maiev Shadowsong is a legend. Famed for her uncanny ability to capture any enemy, Maiev tracked Illidan Stormrage, the Betrayer, all the way to the Black Temple in Outland.

I actually asked my mom if I can change my name to Maiev Shana when I was a kid after playing WC3 campaign and watching Shakugan No Shana (an anime series), HAHAHA.
