Mar 3, 2016 · Hi all. I have been watching plenty of people have success with turbo builds so I have taken the plunge. Now that my turbo has arrived I feel I can start a thread for it. My goal is to build a turbo setup that does not require pulling the head at first, I plan to do this by running conservative boost pressures and e85 fuel.

Aug 18, 2018 · Anyways to conclude this I would only recommend buying intercooler kit and a manifold form CX racing kit they also got good turbo's which I use now it was 600 bucks for gtx3582r which got drained in oil because oil drain line kinked too much heat was coming off the manifold which made rubber loose its consistency and it collapsed on itself ...

Oct 20, 2014 · I'm currently exploring the idea of turbo charging my '01 330ci with an m54 engine on the ms43 DME. At this point this is just an idea, but the information could help others in the midst of their builds. As of now the only kit is the TT kit by Nick G. That kit is brilliant but at its current price point it is exceeding the budget of most people.

Jul 16, 2018 · The project car is my 2004 BMW 330Ci with the m54b30! I have a second m54b30 with a blown head gasket which is getting boosted. Since the car is a daily, I cant have it down for longer than 12 hours, so i am im gonna hook everything up on the engine on the side and when it comes time, drop the engine with the turbo on it.

Feb 12, 2019 · I supercharged my m3 recently but never done anything to my 330s. I wouldn***8217;t bet on a turbo m54 being reliable, or able to beat a stock m3 without other mods such as lsd, fatter tires, and suspension stuff. If your car is an auto that is another problem aswell. For the price of any decent kit, I would just get a 335 and upgrade that.

May 25, 2011 · ^^M54 is predecessor of N54, but N54 is complete different engine. You'll need a proper turbo/SC kit in order to gain maximum performance without taking a huge risk.
