Sightmark is also fine for starting out, and your Triple Threat will give you a feel for rifle scopes. However, if you’re serious about upgrading eventually, save up for something like a Vortex Viper or Leupold VX-5HD.

Apr 18, 2010 · Oh, US Army. Basic at Ft. Jackson in 1975 with an M16A1. AIT at Ft. Polk end of 1976 and first couple months of 1976 with an M16A1. Then got my M14 at Ft. Myer, VA in Feb. 1976 and went to "the field" for training at Ft. A.P. Hill and learned to love my M14 on a windy day when they had us shoot the M16A1s first and the M14's after that.

Oct 31, 2023 · The Op rod is SAK. The rifle is a tack driver all day. The rear sight is hooded in a NM@ housing. Really quality parts. The other Armscorp has "NM" stamped into the receiver, but theres nothing NM about the rifle. 7790190 HR barrel, Winch bolt, Chinese trigger 04779 and a no-name Op-rod which has an undersize tab.

Jan 15, 2025 · m14 was the last battle rifle for US. The traditional look of wood stock and longer overall length just give a nicer appearance. If they start to use M16 rifles/M4 carbines, it just don't look as nice and a lot of program they are currently running will have to be redesigned too.
