Kunsan K-8 Air Base (Korean: 군산공군기지) is a United States Air Force base located at Gunsan Airport, on the west coast of the Korean peninsula bordered by the Yellow Sea. It is located in the town of Gunsan (also romanized as Kunsan), about 180 kilometres (110 mi) south of Seoul.

Kunsan Air Base is home to the 8th Fighter Wing which is known as the “Wolf Pack”, a nickname given during the command of Colonel Robin Olds back in 1966. It is one of two major Air Force installations operated by the United States in Korea.

Kunsan Air Base is located in Gunsan, South Korea approximately 150 miles south of Seoul. It is situated on the Gunsan Airport. The 8th Fighter Wing of the United States Seventh Air Force and the 38th Fighter Group of the Republic of Korea Air Force both operate at Kunsan.

The 8th Fighter Wing is the host unit at Kunsan Air Base, and is assigned to Seventh Air Force, headquartered at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Seventh Air Force falls under Pacific Air Forces, which is headquartered at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

Kunsan Air Base is located on the coast of the Yellow Sea in western South Korea and falls under the command of the United States Air Force. It is one of only two United States Air Force installations in the Asian peninsula, with the other being found in Osan, nearly 6 hours away.
