Kino (Japanese: キノ) is a playable character in Xenoblade Chronicles: Future Connected. A Nopon, he is Riki and Oka's adopted son and, by extension, Nene's adopted brother. Kino is very shy but aims to become a hero to honour his father by helping people in need and making friends.

Kino is a young green Nopon. His default outfit is a purple and blue sleeveless jacket. There are 3 crescent-shaped marks on his stomach. Kino is very shy, especially around strangers. He feels deeply indebted to Riki and Oka for adopting him and wants to become the next Heropon in order to pay them back.

Kino is one of the playable characters in the Future Connected epilogue of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. Kino is a young Nopon using a weapon that specialize in Ether based attacks. Kino is said to be shy but strives to become a hero to honour his father.

Apr 27, 2023 · Kino makes some sense because riku is closer to his color, and all of Riki and Oka's Littlepon take after their coloring. However, Kino is younger than Nene, who is between 10 and 15, meaning that in order for Riku to grow up in the years after future connected, Kino would have to have him very, very young.

Nene is better from the start of Future Connected and in general IMO, but Kino narrows the gap once he can levels up his artes and can shine in battles against some of the unique monsters.

Sep 6, 2023 · The primary issue Kino runs into is that despite being a clone of Sharla, he has no good party combinations, lacks level 12 arts, and has no skills. Not to mention the lack of optimal gems. While Sharla in the base game isn't great, it isn't impossible to give her decent damage with a proper setup.

It's unfair that XC:DE has all the good Nopon. I don't even remember the name of the one from XCX, and Tora is an extra creepy bastard. Nene and Kino aren't that great, but they're at least cute...
