Jan 22, 2020 · A wrap costs just as much as a paint job, and needs to be reapplied at least every five years or so, or you're actually risking the paint during removal; especially on an old car. The stuff doesn't last forever; especially if it's not garaged. It's not something to do if you're after saving money. It's a very expensive style statement.

Jul 29, 2020 · Here are the test results on a door panel that is too far gone. It’s obvious the cap color is not the best representation of the actual color. However, if I paint all 4 to match, I think it is close enough to the color scheme of the overall interior to be ok. i also decided to buy the Duplicolor cleaner/prep and surface adhesion promoter.

Mar 16, 2011 · First get some trim fasteners from the auto parts store, the kind that have teeth going in one direct. They come in many styles. You can paint them to match your interior if you want but I chose not to. Next take a look at your shitty headliner and figure out where you should put the fasteners.
