On your computer, open a presentation in Google Slides. Go to the slide with the object or text box you want to change. Click the object or text box. In the menu at the top, click Format Format options. At the right, click Size & Position. Make changes to the object or text box.

Create a new text box Click the icon next to the box . Select a new setting for text in the box: Do not autofit. Shrink text on overflow.

If you're using multiple apps, you can also copy and paste content into Google Slides from other apps. On your Android phone or tablet, open a presentation in the Google Slides app. Open a different app in split screen mode. Tap and hold the object or text you want to move. Drag the content onto the slides app to paste it.
