Hickory Bay is one of the best beaches in Le Bons Bay, spacious and relatively uncrowded. The water is crystal clear, making this place ideal to enjoy swimming. The beach is very clean.

Hickory Bay in Banks Peninsular is an exposed beach break that has quite reliable surf and can work at any time of the year. Offshore winds blow from the north. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the southeast.

Facing due east and being on the end of the peninsula, it captures swell from the south right around to the northeast.
