HMCS Snowberry was a Flower-class corvette that was originally built for the Royal Navy, but spent most of the war in service with the Royal Canadian Navy. She fought primarily as a convoy escort during the Second World War. She served primarily in the Battle of the Atlantic.

Built for the RN, she was commissioned at Quebec City on 26 Nov 1940 as HMS SNOWBERRY. She arrived at Halifax on 13 Dec 1940 for further work and sailed 09 Feb 1941, with convoy HX.108 for the U.K.

Jun 10, 2005 · Snowberry was a group of ten corvettes built in Canada for the RN and they were delivered to the UK with a token crew. At that point the RN kept ownership of them but turned them over to the RCN for manning.

Snowberry was easily distinguishable from the other Corvettes as she lacked minesweeping gear and the siting of the after-gun tub amidships.
