You can then add a refresh link to each card in a consistent location such as the upper right corner and one item can be refreshed while everything else doesn't change. For convenience you would also add a Refresh All link at the top of the page.

Since "Wait for Confirm" is a label, I would suggest the following change (refer image): Keep the refresh button in the center and on top of that have a label that toggles (fades in and out) between "Awaiting Confirmation" and "Refresh to update" or something.
