Dec 14, 2024 · Currently, users cannot add new items and update them in the shared calendar and family calendar. This is a known problem and Microsoft has been aware of this problem. Our relevant technical team has been working on fixing the problem. After the issue is fixed, you can still use your family calendar in your iPhone/MacBook calendar app.

Dec 23, 2024 · On my outlook.com, it shows the Your Family calendar under "Groups" and I can't edit the color (another annoying mistake Microsoft made), but on my wife's outlook.com, it shows the Your Family calendar under "Other Calendars" and she CAN edit the color.

When I am setting up something for that calendar do I need to make a entry in my calendar and in the family calendar or is there some way the family calendar imports that automatically. An example, my son needs a ride to baseball and he needs to check my calendar or mom's calendar to see who is available.
