Apr 29, 2018 · Generally speaking, lights on aircraft that blink or pulsate are not nav lights. Nav lights are on or off. Lights that blink or pulsate are rotating beacons or anti collision strobes. I've never seen nav lights that are'nt steady on for obvious reasons. There are always exceptions with the military.....but not that I have seen with nav lights.

The navigation lights are powered by 3 magnetic switch LED lights from the MakerSupply. PETG clear transulent filament is required to power the fiber optics of this LED kit model. The model includes movable print-in-place bomb bay doors.

Oct 2, 2012 · I have the Tamiya F-117 Nighthawk, and it includes the apertures for the wing navigation lights as clear parts. When just glued on, there's a see through effect where you can see right through the wing.

Mar 10, 2017 · We installed the red and green lights that are lit solid on the front of the wing tips and the flashing white lights on the rear of the wing tips plus the tail, bottom blinker and landing lights. This not only gave us a good view of the plane at a good distance but it also served as a great way to tell the orientation of the plane.

Feb 11, 2015 · Looks good, my only critique is that military navigation lights (red/green wingtip lights) don't flash like strobes but instead just alternate on-off, but most of the time navigation lights should be steady.

Jan 31, 2014 · Is there a source for finding out the exact pattern/sequence of how the navigation/anti collision lights on jet aircraft like F-15, F-16, F-18 etc. work? Is the sequence pretty much standard for all NATO aircraft, or does it vary depending on aircraft type and/or operator?
