The Nirvash type Zero is the oldest known L.F.O. on the planet, and is featured in Eureka Seven. At first, it could only be piloted by Eureka, a Humanoid Coralian, but later on it accepted Renton Thurston. In Eureka Seven Vol.1: The New Wave, Sumner Sturgeon pilots the Nirvash to defeat Captain Sawyer and find Ruri near the end of the game.

Eureka Seven tells the story of Renton Thurston and the outlaw group Gekkostate, his relationship with the enigmatic mecha pilot Eureka, and the mystery of the Coralians. The fifty-episode series aired on MBS between April 2005 and April 2006.

Eureka (エウレカ), eventually Eureka Thurston, is the main female lead in Eureka Seven and a major character in Eureka Seven: AO. A member of the Gekkostate, she is the pilot of the Nirvash type ZERO, alongside her co-pilot Renton Thurston, with whom she falls in love and later marries.

When a mysterious organization attacks the local Scub Coral, Ao somehow gets mixed up in the battle and manages to activate a mysterious robot called the Nirvash while it is being transported by the Japanese Forces.
