May 15, 2014 · What countries are in the CSAT alliance? What is the purpose of this alliance? The campaing in Arma 3 doesn't really explain it too well. Edit: This thread is from 2014, I got it now, no need to keep bumping. This was posted back when the game only had the East Wind campaign, and my understanding of English was worse back then, so I probably missed some of the background.

Russia was going to be the independent faction. They had CSAT gear but used the AAF camo pattern, and the AAF didn't exist. In the game we have now, the only countries represented in CSAT are Iran, China, and an unnamed North African country, with Russia being an ally who sells weapons to CSAT despite not being a member.
