HxH was my 2nd anime I watched and was and is my favourite of all time. I spent a long time looking for something similar but couldn't find anything as good with the same vibe. However, my other favourite animes may appeal to you if you have similar taste to me, Re:Zero, Mob Psycho 100, Yu Yu Hakusho, or Fate may scratch your itch.

Jul 5, 2018 · Tbh there isn’t really another anime like hxh. Other anime’s have some stuff that hxh has, but none really plot/story wise. I’ll give you suggestions anyway. These are all shounen or mostly shounens. Yuyu hakusho is an early 90s anime made by Togashi that is good.

With Ging and Gon, nen system, the CA arc was all world building to show you the vastness and sheer power of the DC. Just like everyone else, HxH ruined other anime to me. I'm currently on my 3rd rewatch of the series and looking for another one that I can enjoy. The last other anime that I watched is Jujutsu Kaisen. I like the animation and abilities. I dropped MHA and Black Clover.

Plus, it's only like a 114 episode anime, written by the same author of HxH, so you seem some sweet similarities. Great Teacher Onizuka : a slice of life anime, about the most badass/unconventional teacher you always dreamed you would have.

Fullmetal alchemsit is a great one but really underplays the battle part while some classics like One Piece and Naruto (at least the first series) might be worth looking into if you are not that critical ...

It dosnt have fights in the normal anime way but they have more logic based battles figuring out what each person can and cant know way but the first arc feels like its happening somewhere in HxH land Unpopular take but if you like Togashi's passion for coming up with short little high stakes games, honestly try the first 7 volumes of Yugioh.
