The alpine linux config.txt is also old, need to use arm64_bit=1 instead of arm_control=0x200 plus a couple of other options to get everything working right (see the Manjaro config.txt). However, as stated by another poster, no usb devices work.

Dec 24, 2020 · I then added a wifi.txt, usercfg.txt, and the headless executable script to the root of the partition, according to the official alpine wiki. When I insert the sd card into the pi, I get the 4 green blinks over and over. I have looked over questions pertaining to this problem with other distros but none seem to be relevant with alpine linux.

After I plugged everything in, HDMI, keyboard, LAN, SD Card and power, I don't get any reaction. After trying to select the input on my screen I get no signal and it searches for other signals.

Jun 25, 2020 · If I create for instance an ext4 formatted partition which supports symbolic links, the Raspberry Pi won't boot at all. Other Linux distributions for the Raspberry Pi often use multiple partitions: A boot partition formatted as FAT32 and a second one, e.g. formatted as ext4, which contains the actual root file system.

Jun 3, 2020 · Just some days ago the Raspberry Pi foundation has released its first 64 bit Raspberry Pi OS test version. You may give it a try. At time it has some limitations but I think this does not effect MongoDB. With this operating system you can be sure that it is supported and improved in the future.

There are 2 different versions of Alpine Linux, one "standard" and one called "Raspberry Pi". My question: Am I missing out on performance or compatibility if I choose the Standard version for ARM?
