This made me realise that Halo 5 added entire armour sets based on Noble Team, but I'm disappointed Intruder doesn't have a prosthetic arm to match Kat's one. That would've helped make this body armour feel unique, especially since you can't customise it in Halo 5.

Oct 9, 2015 · So I wasn't crazy, that Halo 4 DLC map with the green crystals WAS probably a reference to Tiberium Wars. Same with how the Hellcat helmet in Halo 5 looks like the Commando helmet in "Tiberium", the cancelled FPS game and sequel to Tiberium Wars. Glad to see 343's a fan of my other favorite science-fiction universe.

Mar 28, 2016 · Armor customization is the one thing halo 4 did better than any other halo in my opinion. Head, shoulders, chest, arms, legs, visor color. now its back to 3 options head, body, visor, that's as many variables as halo 3.

The craziness of some Halo 4 and 5 Spartan armor is clearly trying to actually look as alien as something 500 years in the future would actually look. While this is an interesting thing to attempt, it does sorta betray the rugged beauty that the Bungie era games had, Reach in particular.

May 25, 2022 · Halo should play more like Halo while taking the best of Bungie-era and 343-era. Doom-like Halo would compromise what Halo’s all about. Artistically, Halo’s soft sci-fi elements are more grounded in practical militarism than Doom’s full-on science fantasy shit going on.

This is a really interesting progression actually, Buck's Halo 5 armour looks really great IMO. It's got that familiar ODST bulkiness, but also has the Mjolnir elements present, solid design work if you ask me.
