Nov 8, 2015 · I've been looking for one more ladder stand and have been watching the ads in the mail and on line for just the right ladder stand that fits my wants and needs. I was wanting at least a ladder stand with a minimum height of 17 feet but it had to have the full floor area that reached the tree trunk and have a flip up seat.

I have 90% of the rest of the materials for enclosing it, I am going to get away from the popup blind mostly because I can. I love em, just taking the next step up on this one, including stairs instead of a ladder as I am getting old.

Dec 8, 2023 · Agree I don't even like hunting the ladder stands anymore. I have gotten spoiled hunting from elevated blinds. Started building bind platforms few years ago, I just put a popup blind on them they work great. I generally set them at 6-8ft high. We are gonna put in 3 more after season is over. I just priced brackets, lumber, and hardware.

Feb 19, 2025 · I started taking my son with me when he was 4yrs old. I hunted ladder stands I made ftom steel tubing 12ft high. I would have him sit on the platform and I would stand behind him. I kept a good supply of tootsie roll pops for him. I think he was 5 or 6yrs old when we were sitting for an early bow season hunt.

I went out only 2 or 3 days, with almost no preparation. During rifle season I took a folding chair and set up in the middle of a multi-flora rose patch and luckily two does came by.

Sep 29, 2024 · A Treewalker lightweight climber and a Millennium Monster hang on with a 21' Muddy ladder. I prefer to sell them as a pair and am asking $425.00. The stands are well cared for and in good shape, they have been hunted but were not left in the woods for extended periods. I'm in Viburnum but am willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet a buyer.
