Officers responded to the area of Eighth Street and Bell Road on Jan. 29 where they found a man and a woman who had both been shot.

A man was killed and a woman was injured in a late-night double shooting in north Phoenix on Wednesday, authorities said.

PHOENIX — Police are looking for the suspect in a double shooting that left a man dead and a woman in the hospital in north Phoenix, according to authorities. The Phoenix Police Department said the shooting happened Wednesday shortly after 11:30 p.m. near 7th Street and Bell Road. Officers arrived to find both victims had been shot.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital but later died, police said.
