Welcome to Championship Sunday, a day that has kicked off with should be a highly-entertaining NFC title game between the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles.  This game marks the 20th time since the merger that two division rivals will meet in a conference title game.

The NFC Championship game of the NFL Playoffs will see the Washington Commanders (12-5) and Philadelphia Eagles (14-3) square off at Lincoln Financial Field on Jan. 26, starting at 3 p.m. ET.In

The previous record was held by the 1990 Buffalo Bills, who defeated the Raiders 51–3 in the AFC championship to reach Super Bowl XXV. More recently, Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers put up 49 points against the Arizona Cardinals in order to punch their ticket to Super Bowl 50.
