Investigators say Taylor Meyer of Jeffersonville had suspected that his wife Deborah was having an affair with a co-worker, so he tried to salvage their relationship with a romantic gesture that was "Paris-themed" on February 14.

Taylor Meyer, 34, is accused of beating his wife, Deborah, 36, with a wine bottle before stabbing her at least 40 times as their three young children slept upstairs. The incident allegedly sprung from Meyer’s suspicion that his wife was involved in a romantic relationship with a co-worker.
