After working with his bands Calpurnia and The Aubreys, the ’Stranger Things’ star is launching a solo career.

Once upon a time, Finn Wolfhard was the Stranger Things kid with all the indie-world credibility. He was in PUP videos. He covered Mac DeMarco and then performed with Mac DeMarco. His band Calpurnia recorded an EP with Twin Peaks’ Cadien Lake James.

He's previewing the effort today with lead single "Choose the latter," a jangly indie pop ditty that arrives alongside a goofy Mac Photo Booth-shot music video starring the actor/musician himself, green-screened into a rollercoaster ride ( which, I guess, is the cool thing to do these days ).

Finn Wolfhard has announced his forthcoming debut solo album, Happy Birthday, alongside the release of new single, "Choose the latter".
