Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was reportedly connected to the Celtics sale, though that doesn't seem very likely after his recent comments.

Sources indicated to The Inquirer that, while Lurie is not interested in acquiring the Celtics as a majority owner, he would be interested in acquiring a piece of the team as a limited partner.
