The New York Jets are bringing back the passing game coordinator position on their coaching staff under Aaron Glenn. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Scott Turner formerly of the Las Vegas Raiders was hired in New York as the team’s passing game coordinator.

The Jets introduced Aaron Glenn a week ago as their new head coach, giving their fans something to feel hopeful about for the first time in a long time. And Glenn has wasted no time getting to some of the most important decisions of his first season at the helm of a NFL team: filling out his coaching staff.

Turner joins Engstrand, quarterbacks coach Charles London, receivers coach Shawn Jefferson and offensive line coach Steve Heiden on the offensive side of the ball. Glenn has also brought in defensive coordinator Steve Wilks and special teams coordinator Chris Banjo.
