Create a new UML Class Diagram and drag classes, interfaces and enumerations from the toolbox, as shown in Figure 1. To include elements in multiple diagrams, drag them from the UML Model Explorer.

Class diagrams, on the other hand, are programmers tools. UML-based modeling tools take completed class diagrams and use them to directly generate code.
