Hosting both the women’s and men’s competitions is a rare opportunity for ski racing fans to witness the world’s top athletes at the same location.

The Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team and Copper Mountain Resort on Tuesday announced a World Cup alpine racing event will be taking place in Colorado this fall.

The U.S. will be able to claim another alpine racing World Cup event on home soil in November 2025, when Copper Mountain will host the Stifel Copper Cup.

For the first time in 24 years — and only the fourth time ever — Copper Mountain will host World Cup ski racing.
