Before painting your tile floors, consider the traffic the area gets and its environment. Painted tile in a moisture-prone bathroom or high-traffic mudroom may bubble or chip over time.

Many of the rooms we use tile floors in are also subject to humidity and hot temperatures -- like the kitchen and bathroom. Subjected to both, paint has a tendency to lift, bubble, and peel away.
