A cybersecurity researcher has developed FileFix, a variant of the ClickFix social engineering attack that tricks users into executing malicious commands via the File Explorer address bar in Windows.

The FileFix update created by mr.d0x is similar to a typical ClickFix attack but pastes the command into Windows File Explorer, which many users are more comfortable using.
