GUWAHATI: Former Chief Minister N Biren Singh, who lost his position following a violent ethnic conflict, has urged Manipur’s indigenous communities to stay alert, warning that their land and identity are under threat.

This comes four days after northeastern state's Chief Minister N Biren Singh resigned from his post on February 9. Singh resigned on February 9 and was asked by the governor to continue in office till alternative arrangements were made.
