House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman James Comer said that the mayors of Chicago, Boston, Denver and New York City have confirmed their attendance to testify at a full committee hearing in Washington, D.C., on March 5. Comer has also requested documents and communications related to the mayors’ migrant sanctuary policies.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) sent letters Johnson and the mayors for three other major cities – Boston, Denver, and New York – last week, asking them to testify before the committee and hand over all documents and communications related to their city's sanctuary policies.
