Jack Brennan is about to look a lot different on General Hospital. Deadline has confirmed that Charles Mesure, who joined the ABC sudser in December of 2023, is walking away from his role as Brennan and will be replaced by Chris McKenna,

SOD added that daytime veteran Chris McKenna will assume the role of Brennan, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 4. He's best known in the soap world for his roles as Detective Mark Harding on The Young and the Restless and as Joey Buchanan on One Life to Live; he also briefly appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr. Hayden.

Months after Mesure was introduced as Jack Brennan on General Hospital, he shared in an interview with Soap Opera Digest that he “had never really thought about [doing a] soap opera or General Hospital ” until the Writer’s Guild of America strike and the SAG-AFTRA strike.
