Some developers implementing Google+ logins on their websites are now seeing an option to add a “sign in with Google” button, according to people who The Verge has spoken with.
OpenTable, another one of Google’s launch partners, told me that it took its developers a “very short time” to implement the new Google+ sign-ins on its mobile and web apps.
As mobile apps look for an alternative to passwords, big networks like Facebook and Google have become login services, letting a single login sign you into dozens of different apps.
"Sign in with Google and One Tap use secure tokens, rather than passwords, to sign users into partner websites and apps," says Filip Verley, a product manager on the Google Identity team.
