Anaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson reached his 500th career game on Tuesday night as Anaheim took on the Dallas Stars at Honda Center. He made 26 saves in his milestone game to help the team secure a 2-1 win.

John Gibson made 26 saves to pick up the win in his 500th NHL game as the host Anaheim Ducks edged the Dallas Stars 2-1 on Tuesday night.

Other than being soaked from a postgame shower from teammates, it was hard to tell after Anaheim’s 2-1 victory over Dallas that John Gibson had achieved a milestone.

Ducks veteran goaltender John Gibson became the first netminder in franchise history to play 500 games, though he wants to try to focus on the present instead of looking back at his career or any milestones still ahead.
