Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker is catching flack for referencing Nazis when criticizing President Donald Trump. The last part of Pritzker’s speech Wednesday included references to Nazis six times as he discussed the election of Trump to the White House.

The fallout over comments Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker made about Nazis during his budget address spilled onto the House floor Thursday. For more than five minutes Wednesday, Pritzker ended his address talking about the history of Nazi Germany and warned what he sees as the looming threat in America under the Trump administration.

We don’t have kings in America, and I don’t intend to bend the knee to one,” Gov. J.B. Pritzker said. “If we don’t want to repeat history, then for God’s sake, in this moment, we better be strong enough to learn from it.
