The green tree python is a mesmerizing snake known for its remarkable color transformation. Unlike a chameleon, it doesn't change color instantly, but instead undergoes a gradual shift as it matures.

One of the most vibrant snakes, the green tree python can be found in New Guinea, Indonesia, and Australia's Cape York Peninsula. It is non-poisonous and will spend most of its life curled on trees.
