Google Cloud has donated its Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol to the Linux Foundation, which has now announced a new community-driven project called the Agent2Agent Project.

Dependencies need to be explicit, so changes don’t cascade unpredictably. Visibility should extend beyond individual cloud providers, and governance has to follow workloads wherever they run.
