This is an easy tutorial showing how you can control the brightness of an LED or adjust the speed of a DC fan using Arduino Board, a small BC547 transistor and a potentiometer. In my example the whole ...
I made this project because I wanted a way to automatically control the speed of a DC fan according to the temperature read by a LM35 sensor. I had a few ...
The video after the break demonstrates an Arduino driving the servo based on a potentiometer input as well as commands from the CNC controller board he’s using.
Now the speed can be controlled with a pot. Once control of the fan was sorted, [tinyboatproductions] decide to add an OLED display to show the fan speed and power condition, which is a nice touch.
I'd like to get up to speed with Matter, so it's good to see a basic introductory tutorial on the wireless protocol on the Arduino website.
But it is still an interesting all-discrete circuit. Pondering this still further, I have my own suggestion (left) if an MCU – say an Arduino – has to control the speed of a fan.
