Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla enjoyed his front row seat to Al Horford's defensive clinic versus LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers
Fans take to social media to react to Al Horford nearly knocking Luka Doncic out during tonight's Lakers vs. Celtics matchup.
Luka Doncic had a huge game for the Lakers, scoring 34 points in the loss. He also took one of the biggest hits in the game when Al Horford hit him in the face with his knee after throwing down a big dunk in the first quarter.
"You take a look at his stat sheet, it doesn't always show what he does for us," Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla said of Horford.
The Boston Celtics avoided their first three-game losing streak of the season on Sunday, thanks in large part to a vintage performance by Al Horford.
In the first quarter, with just under four minutes to play, Brown pickpocketed Doncic and passed the ball to running big man Al Horford for an easy two-hand dunk. As Horford was holding on to the rim to avoid a fall, he swung back right into Doncic, kneeing him hard in the face.
