Blake Shelton, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, and more have signed on to help The Grand Ole Opry celebrate its platinum anniversary with a primetime television special this spring.

A Live Celebration, is set to air on NBC on Wednesday, March 19. The 3-hour live broadcast celebrating the Grand Ole Opry’s 100th anniversary will be hosted by Opry member Blake Shelton, and feature live performances from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House and the legendary Ryman Auditorium,

Tune in on March 19 for what promises to be a night of unforgettable music, history, and celebration honouring the Grand Ole Opry’s legacy.

The telecast will be executive produced by Silent House Productions’ Emmy Award winners Baz Halpin, Mark Bracco and Linda Gierahn, along with R.A. Clark and Steve Buchanan. A limited amount of tickets will go on sale starting Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. CT on the Opry’s website, while a pre-sale for Opry subscribers will launch Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. CT.

Morgan Wallen is playing State Farm Stadium for two nights. Other big artists include Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves, Randy Travis and Luke Bryan.

Fifteen living CMA or ACM Entertainers of the Year are not members of the Grand Ole Opry, and a few of them barely recognize the vaunted stage. George Strait, Kenny Chesney and Willie Nelson are three legends who rarely play the Grand Ole Opry. Why?
