The West Jefferson County Municipal Water District as well as the cities of Port Arthur and Nederland are reporting issues with their water systems after multiple nights of freezing temperatures. West Jefferson County Municipal Water District and the city of Port Arthur are under a boil notice as of Wednesday.

Rain chances (20%) will enter the forecast late Saturday and continue into Sunday, Jan. 26. Sunday holds a 40% chance of showers and storms, with the greatest chances for rain coming across Central and Southeast Texas, according to the NWS. Additional rain chances are in the forecast for next week.
