Drake's "Not Like Us" Bexar County petition against Texas-based music company iHeartMedia has reportedly reached a settlement. Drake filed two petitions in November, one in New York and the other in Texas.
The Toronto rapper claimed that Universal Music Group made payments to iHeartMedia for airtime of Lamar's Grammy-winning diss track.
The as-yet-unnamed business will include such properties as MSNBC, CNBC and the Golf Channel and is expected to generate about $7 billion in annual revenue.
"In exchange for documents that showed iHeart did nothing wrong, Drake agreed to drop his petition. No payments were made — by either one of us," iHeart said.
Drake has alleged UMG engaged in “irregular and inappropriate business practices” to get radio airplay for “Not Like Us.”
