Former Arkansas Gov. Jim Guy Tucker was remembered Monday during a Service of Witness to the Resurrection at Second Presbyterian Church where he had been a member for nearly 50 years.

Many remembered the life and legacy of former Arkansas governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, U.S. congressman and prosecuting attorney Jim Guy Tucker as he was laid to rest Monday. Tucker stepped into the office of governor in 1992 after Bill Clinton became president.

Family, friends and colleagues are gathering Monday afternoon to lay former Arkansas Governor James “Jim” Guy Tucker to rest.
